100TH EASY II AVIONICS UPGRADE COMPLETED AT DFS

DFS, a Dassault Aviation company-owned service center, has received its 100th EASy II flight deck upgrade order.

The upgrade, an EASy YY Step 2 retrofit, will be performed on a Dassault Falcon 900EX EASy aircraft at the DFS facility in Paris-Le Bourget, France in June. The same aircraft had previously been at DFS in 2013 for an EASy II Step 1 upgrade, a winglet installation and BMW interior refurbishment.

The eASy II Step 2 retrofit will entail the installation of CPDLC ATN B1, CPDLC FANS 1A+, hardware along with a Satcom system upgrade.

EASy II offers new functions and capabilities that further enhance operational safety and flight operation while greatly improving aircraft efficiency. In particular, the new flight deck enables Falcon operators to getmore out of their Satcom systems by utilizing the Future Air Navigation System 1/A (FANS 1/A+) and Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Contract (ADS-C) capabilities.

"Our Dassault Falcon Service eam is capable to complete EASy II upgrades quickly, minimizing the impact on Customer operating schedules" says Jean Kayanakis, the DFS General Manager. "We are proud to be the leader in the EMEA avionics modernization market."

Dassault Falcon Service offers a wide range of retrofit solutions that allow customers to keep their Falcons up to the latest modification standards.
