DFS achieved ISO14001 certification for Environmental Management System last June 2015. This international standard requires organizations to develop an integrated and formal approach in setting-up environmental policy and achieving ambitious objectives to support protection of the Environment.

This environmental commitment is part of DFS strategic objectives, and requires continuous improvment on a daily basis by all DFS Management and the entire personnel. 

The follow-up audit directed by Bureau Véritas Certification, from last April 4 to 6 highlighted effectiveness and eco-efficiency of DFS Environmental Management System in all activities and an efficient internal audit process.

DFS made the demonstration of its willingness to move forward in managing and monitoring environmental issues; especially for energy efficiency control and waste management. The new MRO facility in Bordeaux-Mérignac, scheduled to open soon, is already part of the DFS Environmental Management action plan.
