On Thursday, June 4th, Jean-Marie Pontois, Alain Garcia (Dassault Mérignac) et Jean Kayanakis (Dassault Falcon Service) made a presentation of DFS project in Mérignac to Alain Juppé, the President of Bordeaux Metropole and Alain Anziani, the Mayor of Mérignac.

This new DFS project includes a maintenance hangar capable of 6 Falcon 7X, on a 100.000 square meters piece of land, property of Dassault Aviation; for a total investment of 15 million euros.

Mr Alain Juppé, the Mayor of Bordeaux, answering FR3 in front of the Flament in Dassault Mérignac facility, highlighted the importance of DFS Project: "Obviously, it's a great opportunity for our aerospace cluster. Dassault benefits from the Aeroparc synergies and this project will reinforce Mérignac and Bordeaux Métropole attractiveness".

Furthermore, DFS extension project in Mérignac was recently delivered building permit which launch construction early September 2015, for the new site entry into service in Septembre 2016.
