DFS OFFERS A SECOND LIFE TO HEAVILY DAMAGED FALCON
December 2017, on a remote airport, a Falcon F7X is blown from its parking position by strong winds. It crashes into a nearby building and the front section is severely damaged.
April 2018, Dassault Falcon Service is chosen by the owner to perform an on-site repair which will be a full renewal as every damaged parts will be replaced by new parts (frame, skin, cockpit arches, etc.).
September 2018, removal of all cockpit equipment and structural parts damaged starts.
May 2019, the aircraft is back in the air in order to be ferried to a service center where his 36 months maintenance check will be performed before getting his final release to service.
With this achievement, Dassault Falcon Service, with the assistance of Dassault Aviation factories at Argenteuil and Seclin, performed its most important structural repair project ever and confirms his position of leader regarding heavy repairs on Falcon.
