FALCON 8X: THE WORLDTOUR DEBUT

 

April 4, 2016 (Paris – Le Bourget): The Falcon 8X, new flagship of Dassault Aviation, has started a worldtour. Le Bourget – Teterboro (NJ), at 1st light on Dassault Falcon Service runway, the Falcon 8X took-off with on board; Eric Trappier, CEO of Dassault Aviation, Loik Ségalen,  Chief Operating Officer, and Olivier Villa, Civil Aircraft Director. The Falcon 8X, latest flagship of the range now begins the final stage of its global certification process. The new ultra-long range Falcon 8X (6,450 nm/11,945 km) can connect Paris to Hong Kong, Los Angeles to Beijing nonstop. The roadshow aims to demonstrate the 8X performance through various "Hot & High" flight conditions. The aircraft will continue its worldtour in the United-States, North and South America, before traveling through Europe, and finally flying across Asia, more precisely in China, where it will be presented at the Shangai ABACE Air Show. At the end of this two-month proving route, it will achieve 55,000 miles, and will make sixty missions. Dassault Falcon Service will assist the 8X s/n n°3 at any stop at Le Bourget, and during its whole trip around Europe.
