FALCON TRAINING CENTER INTRODUCES NEW SIMULATOR IN PARIS

Early February, FlightSafety International in Paris started operations of their new Falcon 2000LXS Full Flight Simulator.

This simulator, EASA and FAA certified, is equipped with FlightSafety’s VITAL 1100 PLUS visual system, featuring an all-glass mirror display and providing unprecedented fidelity. The Falcon 2000LXS simulator will enable training on FalconEye, Dassault’s multi-spectral, high-definition Combined Vision System. FalconEye technology includes wider, brighter and higher resolution via a new HUD (Head Up Display), and will be installed on Falcon 2000LXS and 8X aircraft. (FlightSafety International has been selected by Dassault as the factory authorised training provider for the new Falcon 8X aircraft).

The new simulator will be a valuable addition to those already available at the Paris facility (Falcon 10, 20, 50, 900, 2000, 900EX EASy, 2000EX EASy and 7X). FlightSafety’s training programs include Initial, Recurrent and OPCs. As the only Falcon 2000LXS worldwide so far, it is  a “wonderful opportunity for FlightSafety to grow our activity and strengthen our know-how with more and more customers joining us every week”, says Yannick Kerriou, Center Manager at FlightSafety Paris.

The Falcon Training Center celebrated the event on February 5th  with an inauguration gathering European operators and members of Dassault Aviation at their premises at Paris - Le Bourget Airport. About one hundred attendees joined the ceremony and visited the brand new and unique Falcon 2000LXS simulator.
