OPENING CEREMONY OF THE NEW DFS MAINTENANCE CENTER AT MERIGNAC
Mid-October, Dassault Falcon Service opened its new Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) center in Merignac. On November 10th, Mr. Eric TRAPPIER, CEO of Dassault Aviation, and Mr. Jean KAYANAKIS, General Manager of Dassault Falcon Service, celebrated the official opening of the facility.
The ceremony took place in presence of local authorities (Alain JUPPE, President of Bordeaux Metropole, Alain ROUSSET, President of Regional Council, Alain ANZIANI, Senator-Mayor of Merignac, Marie RECALDE, MP of the Gironde Department, and Pierre DARTOUT, Prefect), official representatives, DFS local partners, media and DFS Merignac staff.
More than 200 people attended the event and discovered the new facility, dedicated to 7X and 8X maintenance; increasing the overall capacity of DFS Le Bourget. Located close to the Falcon assembly plant of Dassault Aviation in Merignac, it will offer customers the benefit of improved efficiency between maintenance and OEM Falcon expertise.
